We are a medium size pack in Blaine, MN with boys from ages 5-11 years old, or Kindergarten through 5th Grade. We have lots of room for more eager boys. Our adults are eager to teach the boys everything we can about Scouting ways and preparing them for the next step of Boy Scouts.
We hold 2 den meetings and 1 pack meeting a month where we focus on helping the boys earn activity loops and work on rank advancement. We also try to schedule field trips monthly that go along with that month's goals.
During the summer we try to schedule in several fun activities for the boys to take part in and keep in touch with each other while earning the National Summertime Pack Award.
We hold a pack Pinewood Derby, after that the boys can compete in the District's Pinewood Derby in March.
In February we hold a Blue and Gold Banquet to celebrate scouting.
In June we hold our annual Campout and Graduation Ceremony.
Moving on UP
At our annual Blue and Gold Banquet we had 2 Scouts make the transition from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. It is always bitter sweet watching the Scouts move on in their adventures as we have watched them grow from young boys into young men who are ready to start another adventure. Both Scouts this year moved up to Troop 522, which also meets at Blaine United Methodist so we will hopefully keep seeing their smiling faces around. Good luck on your future adventures in Scouting.
Bruce the Bug Guy
This year's Blue and Gold entertainment included a lot of bugs. Continuing with out theme of Bugs this year Bruce the Bug Guy came to show us some of his creepy crawly friends. The Scouts and other guests had fun learning about all kinds of different bugs and insects. Thank you for the visit Bruce.

Blaine United Methodist had their monthly Gift of Plenty community dinner and in February some of our Scouts were able to help serve dinner. It is always nice to be able to help people in our community and work side by side with our hosts at the church.
This winter some of our Scouts braved the MN winter for a day of fun in the snow at Polar Cubs. So many fun activities and a great time to play with other Scouts around the area.
