OUR PACK

   LEADING YOUTH TO LIFELONG VALUES

Who We Are

The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America is to provide for boys, girls, and young adults an effective educational program designed to build desirable qualities of character; to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship; and to develop personal fitness.

  • To provide this program, Cub Scouts are divided into Packs.

  • Each Pack serves its local community.

  • Pack 512 serves the communities of Blaine and Coon Rapids.

  • Each pack is individually owned by a Charter Organization.

  • Pack 512's Charter Organization is Ten Ring.

To learn more about what Pack 512 has to offer, send us an email with any questions.

To find a pack in your community, visit Northern Star Council's website.

Important Links

There are several important links for our families.

This last year we participated in several fun activities.  We raced in tissue box dinosaur feet, went on nature hikes, and of course camping.  Science experiements are just as important to us as nature related events.  For example we learned how to make our own volcanoes while working on the NOVA award.

Cub Scout Uniforms and handbooks.

Each scout wears a uniform for meetings and special activities.  The Lions, Tigers, Wolves, and Bears wear the blue shirt and pants with the respective hat and neckerchief.  The Webelos may choose to wear either the blue uniform or the Scouts BSA uniform which consists of the khaki shirt and green pants.

Our handbooks were updated with the new program guidelines for 2019 and each one contains directions for what is required for advancement to the next rank and the extra loops and pins the scouts can earn.
